This year’s gift guides have been somewhat of a mammoth undertaking. They’re larger than ever before and they’re split across several posts. Here you’ll find Him, Her, Them & You. The four categories I originally always created guides for.
I don’t particularly think everything in the Him guide is only relevant for males however, it’s just how folk tend to shop, with someone in mind. Them refers to the folk who might be a little bit more difficult. Those types who have everything, those friends who have children even, or your sister’s boyfriend. Them is a catch all for ‘difficulties’ if you will.
Men appear to be the most difficult people to buy for according to your Instagram feedback. Dads, boyfriends, brothers… My general rule of thumb when it comes to buy presents for people who may be ‘difficult’ is to think about what they do or use on a daily basis, like make themselves a cup of coffee and watch the news, and then look to elevate that experience. Buy them amazing coffee. Buy them a hand made mug to drink it from.
When it comes to boyfriends, have some fun. These embroidered sliders are exceptional. If he’s partial to cooking a Sunday roast, treat him to a Christopher Kane apron, because why the hell not? Maybe it’s just me, but personally I quite like getting boxers and socks for Christmas. Those are pricey purchases; I’m fine with someone else covering the bill. Les Girls Les Boys is one of my favourite brands at the moment, the black boxer briefs below are super cool and I couldn’t recommend enough, though for me nothing quite trumps the epic nature of these striped numbers.
If you’re feeling crafty, emblazon a brushed cotton dressing gown (like this one here from Gap currently 50% off) with an embroidered letter to the chest. Monogramming can be expensive, but these patches iron on easily. Perfectly bespoke.

I guarantee you, no sister or sister-in-law, best friend or girlfriend will ever be unhappy with some Charlotte Tilbury under the tree. If you stick to this Lip Oil you won’t run the risk of make up taste coming into the mix. It’s colourless and will undoubtedly be loved by all. Jo Malone London’s Limited Edition festive scent this year is Midnight Musk & Amber, presented in a glorious Art Deco style bottle. It’s a beauty.
If she’s a big fan of Jo Malone London but perhaps your budget is on the smaller side, this Nectarine Blossom & Honey Fragrance Pen comes in at £26. Designed to fit snugly in your handbag, it delivers a juicy, sweet fragrance via a lightweight gel you can apply to the wrists.
About a year ago I bought myself an Instax Camera and have come to absolutely love it. The modern day version of a classic Polaroid; there’s something so fun about waiting for a picture to develop before your eyes. I’ve used the pictures taken in frames about my flat and even made birthday cards with them. 2021 is going to be a year to make plans and memories, so record them well.
Medik8 is an excellent British brand that I recommend highly. This little set is perfect for anyone who’s been having to wear a mask recently, designed specifically to help clear skin.
If lockdown has meant you’re now the proud owner of a four legged friend, or if you’ve simply been heading out for a lot more country walks, these Hunter Boots are seriously chic. Less cumbersome than a welly, but still able to do the country job perfectly.

This Jo Malone London bauble is the perfect little stocking filler, with this year’s glorious Deco packaging finishing it beautifully. If they’re less of a fragrance fan but more of a wannabe foodie, this Sourdough Starter kit is an amazing find. It contains everything you could need to become your own lockdown baker.
I can wax lyrical about Le Creuset pans. They will indeed last a life time, so in many ways it does justify the price. This amazing matte black number is actually reduced currently – 40% off. I doubt you’ll find such an icon cheaper.
Kids can always be a little tricky to buy for as they get older. If you’re wanting to get them something that isn’t plastic or requires an iPad, these personalised icon wall prints are amazing. If they’re a little adventurer at heart, the Little People, Big Dreams series got a welcome addition in 2020. David Attenborough.
Zara’s collaboration with Jo Malone (the specific person, not the brand) has brought with it some beautiful fragrances. This beautiful boxed set comes in under £50 and would make a great gift for a couple, or someone who’s just bought themselves a new house perhaps.

If you need to send any hints out there, here’s some handy little suggestions for you. From embroidered tees with witty slogans, to cashmere bedsocks to keep your tootsies toasty.
This Stella McCartney exercise mat is currently 40% off, a real bargain. If you’re having to spend more time exercising at home, your kit might as well be chic. Speaking of home, this shell vase/object has been on my hit list for a while. I have absolutely no purpose for it or anywhere to put it… but I still really want it oddly enough. Maybe.
Papier was an excellent discovery of mine last year. You can use their range of artist’s designs to customise diaries, notebooks, notecards and calendars. This amazing Daily Planner should hopefully help you make the most of 2021 when it swings around.
